The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Abdelbaki Benzian, accompanied by the Wali of Medea, Mr. Djahid Mouss, have supervised the inauguration of the university pole – OUAZRA – 6000 pedagogical seats.
The delegation began the visit by the two faculties (the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Technology) and its annexes, before visiting the new university residence.
In the large conference room, the Rector of the university welcomed the ministerial delegation, and thanked the minister and the Wali for all the efforts made to complete the project – university pole -OUAZRA – within the established time.
During his speech Mr.Minister Abdelbaki Benzian thanked in turn the Wali of Medea and the Rector of the university on the efforts made to achieve the academic year, and stressed the need to ensure all appropriate conditions for teachers and students to start the academic year in normal circumstances, expressing his satisfaction with the many achievements made to the benefit of the University of Medea.
Thereafter ,he distributed a quota of 50 staff housing to teachers of the University.
The visit concluded with a meeting chaired by the Minister with the executives of the university and the direction of university services , on the preparations for the launch of the academic year 2022-2023.
