Presentation of the Library of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences:
The Library of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was established at the end of the 2015-2016 academic year, following its split from the Library of the Faculty of Literature and Languages.
New headquarters:
Following the opening of the University Pole “Ouazra” in the academic year 2022-2023 and the relocation of the Faculties of Science and Technology to the latter, it was decided to move the headquarters of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences to the new headquarters at the University Pole, where the Faculty of Technology has its current headquarters.
Library building and facilities:
The library building has 04 floors
Basement: The basement houses a bookstore and 05 offices:
– Inventory office
– Two offices for technical processing of books
– Maintenance and binding office
Ground floor: the ground floor includes two suites
The first wing: with
– Loan office (two benches)
– A special lobby for automated bibliographic research
– Reading room for professors with a capacity of 120 seats
The second wing: includes
– Diary processing and broadcasting hall
First floor: includes two halls with a capacity of 200 seats
– Reading room for students ¹ 01
– Obedient hall for students No. 02
Second floor: it includes two wings and the office of the library administrator:

– Supervision hall for master students
The second wing: with
– Internet room for students
Departments:
The library has two departments, namely
Department of Documentary Balance Management: it is divided into an inventory office, two technical processing offices on the ground floor and a hall for processing and sending memos on the ground floor.
Orientation and bibliographic research department: it includes two lending networks for humanities and social sciences and a storage room in the basement.

The library includes a rich stock of sources and references in various disciplines in Arabic and foreign languages, serving students and professors of the college’s specialties.
