Dean’s Word

My dear students, choosing the Faculty of Economic, Commercial, and Management Sciences to pursue your university studies in the field of economics, commerce, and management is not a matter of chance, but results from the richness of this field with its different specialties, which have an echo in the outside world, particularly on the job market. These offers enable you to acquire knowledge, develop your talents and be well trained in this field. In the course of your academic career, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from among the specialties offered by the faculty, spread over four departments. You’ll find a group of competent teachers, teaching and scientific staff, and a team of dedicated administrative staff at your service. We’ll also help you build your training path and your career plan, through study and practical placements with professionals. What’s more, you’ll benefit from the faculty’s infrastructure, including scientific research laboratories, computer rooms, reading rooms; a reference-rich library, with over 10,044 titles corresponding to more than 451,044 copies; and an entrepreneurship house, etc.

The Faculty’s training program is based on three cycles (Licence, Master, Doctorat). During the first three years, students obtain a Bachelor’s degree, which enables them to prepare for various Master’s specialties in the fields of economics, business, management and finance. The range of courses available at the Faculty enables each student to find the path that suits them, in line with their plans, desires and ambitions. With this in mind, we welcome students from all the country’s universities, corresponding to the Faculty’s specialties. The two-year Master’s degree culminates in a doctorate. Doctoral training is selected from offers that meet the needs of the job market.

All students holding a Master’s degree are eligible for doctoral training, after studying their files and passing an entrance exam in accordance with the regulations. Doctoral training lasts three years, and includes lectures, seminars and research activities along the lines set out in the doctoral training project, under the supervision of a group of eminent teachers specialized in each field, culminating in the defense of a doctoral thesis.

Finally, I hope that these specializations in the three training cycles will correspond to the ambitions of my students, and will lead to diplomas enabling them to enter the world of work, thus contributing to the construction and edification of the nation, serving society and realizing their ambitions.
