We, the Management Sciences Department, are functionally part of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Commercial Sciences, and Management Sciences. Our mission is to provide academic and professional training by equipping students with the methods and tools needed to manage both private and public organizations. We aim to develop scientific research in the field and apply knowledge and skills to field studies. This is achieved by adhering to established regulations, fostering a spirit of cooperation and teamwork, and continuously updating programs to align with the realities of the professional world.
Overview of the Department
The Management Sciences Department is one of the departments within the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Commercial Sciences, and Management Sciences at the University of Médéa. The department ensures training in several specializations. After successfully completing the second year of Management Sciences, students have the opportunity to enroll in the third year of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following specializations:
- Business Administration;
- Financial Management;
- Public Management;
- Hotel and Tourism Management;
- Entrepreneurship.
For Master’s studies, students can specialize in one of the following fields:
- Business Administration;
- Financial Management;
- Public Management;
- Budget Management.
The department is staffed by a group of experienced and highly qualified professors, and the success rates among students are high.

The responsibilities of the Scientific Committee are defined under Article 49 of Executive Decree No. 03-279 dated August 23, 2003, which outlines the roles and operating rules of the university. These responsibilities include:
- Proposing the organization and content of educational programs;
- Providing opinions on the distribution of pedagogical tasks;
- Evaluating pedagogical and scientific outcomes;
- Proposing research programs;
- Suggesting the opening, extension, or closure of postgraduate programs and determining the number of positions to be filled;
- Providing opinions on research topics for postgraduate students.
