Scientific, cultural, and sports activities

The Cultural, Sports, and Scientific Activities Directorate actively contributes by allowing students to express their scientific, cultural, and sporting talents. It offers them an escape from the daily routine of their studies, while promoting their talents and integrating them into activities and events organized periodically. The goal is to create an environment conducive to the emergence of a generation of cultured and athletic students, combining ethics and knowledge. The Sub-Directorate’s mission is therefore to: Organize cultural events on and off campus. Organize sports activities for students . Organize training sessions. Organize scientific, cultural, artistic, and sporting competitions. Find out more… Sports activities for students The directorate offers a wide range of sports activities for students of both sexes, giving them the opportunity to develop their sporting skills and adopt a healthy lifestyle. Whether team sports such as football and basketball or individual sports, these activities promote interaction and strengthen the spirit of competition and collaboration among students. Scientific, cultural, artistic, and sports competitions The directorate organizes numerous scientific, cultural, artistic, and sports competitions, allowing students to develop their skills, reveal their talents, and strengthen their creativity and competitive spirit. These events help to energize university life, support academic excellence, and provide a space for interaction and learning outside the classroom. Training sessions The directorate offers various training sessions aimed at developing students’ skills in different academic, professional, and technical fields. These sessions help to strengthen their abilities, enable them to acquire new knowledge, and improve their preparation for the job market through practical and applied training, in line with their future needs and aspirations.  

Scientific Clubs

Scientific clubs are student or academic groups that aim to promote interest in science and technology and encourage scientific research and continuous learning. These clubs organize events, workshops, conferences, and scientific competitions aimed at developing members’ skills and deepening their knowledge in specific fields. Objectives of Scientific Clubs:   Developing research skills: Helping students learn how to conduct scientific research and organize information.   Promoting cooperation among students: Providing students with the opportunity to work together and exchange knowledge with their peers.   Activities and competitions: Organizing scientific competitions, workshops, and lectures that enhance members’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The university cafeteria

Healthcare Services

Healthcare services at universities are essential services that care for students’ health and promote their well-being during their studies. The presence of a doctor’s office on every campus enhances the provision of immediate and rapid medical care to students in case of an emergency or when they experience any symptoms of illness. Objectives of university healthcare services: Immediate medical care: The medical office provides rapid medical care to students in the event of illness or injury. Prevention and health awareness: This includes providing medical advice and guidance to students on the prevention of common diseases and the importance of personal hygiene and healthy eating.   Regular check-ups: The medical office may conduct regular medical check-ups for students to ensure their general health.

University Psychological Assistance

The University Psychological Assistance Center is an important service that provides psychological support to students, with the aim of improving their mental health and helping them deal with the challenges they may face during their university studies. The presence of a group of professors specializing in psychology, education, and art therapy enhances the center’s ability to provide comprehensive support to students suffering from psychological or social stress. The Center’s Goals The University Psychological Assistance Center aims to:   Achieve mental health for the benefit of students and professors.  Help students reach their full potential to develop their mental and emotional abilities and competencies.  Improve university outcomes. – Develop university life in all aspects (pedagogical, scientific, cultural, etc.).  Encouraging students to open up to the world and raise their ambitions. Post Office Service

The university post office service is a convenient and useful service provided by universities to students to facilitate access to postal services without the need to travel outside the campus. Having a post office within each college reduces the burden of long commutes and saves time, enhancing convenience and contributing to a better university experience for students.

Social Security Service

The social security service for university students is a social support mechanism provided by the state or the social security fund with the aim of providing health coverage and financial or social support to university students during their studies.

The Incubator

Page link The University Business Incubator at Yahya Fares University in Medea is a university-supervised entity affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and subject to the supervision of the General Directorate for Scientific Research and Technological Development. It focuses on mentoring and supporting university students with the aim of turning them into entrepreneurs with outstanding scientific and professional skills.
