The Department of the Common Core in Technology was established in 2016 under Ministerial Decree No. 582, dated June 9, 2016, concerning the creation of departments within the Faculty of Technology.
The Common Core Department in Technology forms the fundamental basis shared by all specializations in the field of Science and Technology.The program in this department spans four semesters and includes fundamental, methodological, exploratory, and introductory courses. Students begin studying specialized subjects in the fourth semester, tailored to their chosen field of specialization.
The Common Core aims to provide a shared foundational education across all disciplines, as it does not prepare students for a single specific field. This training helps develop the scientific and human skills necessary for pursuing higher education and gaining independence in professional work.
