Within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 Academic Mobility Programme, Professor Mohamed Maâzouz, Vice-Rector of the University of Medea, represented the university at the Erasmus+ Staff Week, hosted by the University of Ruse, Bulgaria, with the participation of representatives from more than 23 countries across the globe.
The week proved to be a valuable opportunity to showcase the participating universities and explore avenues of cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research, thereby strengthening international academic partnerships and expanding the network of inter-institutional relations.
Beyond its academic dimension, the programme featured a rich cultural component, highlighted by an exhibition of traditional dishes from each participating country, as well as excursions to Bulgaria’s most prominent historical and cultural landmarks — lending the event a truly human and intercultural spirit.
The initiative was warmly welcomed by all participants, who praised the exceptional opportunities it offered for networking, knowledge exchange, and the forging of new academic partnerships.
On this occasion, the Vice-Rector extends his sincere gratitude to the administrative staff of the University of Ruse, the International Office team, and the Erasmus+ programme coordinators, for their warm hospitality and the outstanding support and assistance provided throughout the week
