In accordance with the joint ministerial order of Rajab 8th 1425, corresponding to August 24th 2004, establishing the administrative organization of university rectorate, faculty, institute, annex and common services, published in the Official Journal No. 62 on Shaban 26th,1425, corresponding to September 26th 2004, the Vice-rectorate of postgraduation education, university habilitation, scientific research, is assigned to:
- Oversee questions related to postgraduate education, specialized postgraduate education, and university habilitation and ensure the application of the relevant regulations in force,
- Oversee research units and laboratories activities and prepare the assessment, in coordination with the faculties and institutes,
- Take all actions aiming at exploiting research results,
- Oversee the functioning of the university scientific council and to preserve its archive,
- Collect and spread information concerning research activities conducted by the university.
It is composed of the following services:
- Postgraduate Education and Specialized Postgraduate Education Service,
- University Habilitation Service,
- Research Activities Monitoring and Research Results Exploitation Service.
