Center for Information Systems and Networks, Tele-education Communication and Distance Learning (CSRICTED)

The Center for Information Systems and Networks, Tele-education Communication and Distance Learning (- CSRICTED) is responsible for

The operation, administration and management of network infrastructures (Networks)
The operation and development of IT applications for educational management (Systems) ;
Monitoring and implementation of Tele-education and distance learning  projects ( Tele-education and distance learning)
Technical assistance in the design and production of online courses (Tele-education and distance learning)
Training and supervision of people working in the field of distance learning (Tele-education and distance learning).

The CSRICTED is made up of three sections:

1- Systems section.
2- Networks section.
3- Tele-education and distance learning section.

Sections

Systems Section

Its main function is to install and manage the university’s internal network servers, as well as to design and develop applications and software for educational management.

Section mission :

  • Developing and updating the university's website.
  • Providing a professional email service for teachers, students and ATS staff.
  • Developing and monitoring software and applications related to administration and teaching.
  • Monitoring and regular maintenance of the centre's various servers.

Its most important function is to install, manage and operate the network structures, as well as monitoring expansion projects for the internal university network.

The section's mission:

  • To ensure the development and expansion of the internal wired and wireless network.
  • To operate, manage and organise the network infrastructure, ensuring the security of information systems and networks and developing various security strategies.
  • Connecting teaching structures to each other via the Internet to enable the university community to benefit from an integrated information system
  • Providing technical assistance in the event of problems leading to disconnection from the network and resetting network resources.
  • Providing a network infrastructure for various IT applications and software, whether for management or teaching purposes, such as university enrolments, etc.

Section Réseaux

Section Télé- enseignement et enseignement à distance.

Its most important function is to manage all operations related to e-Learning.

Section mission :

  • Management and monitoring of the distance learning platform
  • Monitoring Tele-education
  • Training and supervision of people involved in distance learning.
