The United Nations has launched a call for applications for the Independent International Scientific Panel on Artificial Intelligence, established under General Assembly resolution 79/325.
Mandate Details:
- Composition: 40 members serving in personal capacity
- Term: Three years (commencing 2026)
- Mission: Advance global, evidence-based understanding of AI
Required Profile:
Experts with outstanding expertise in AI and related fields, including technical, social, political, economic, legal, and ethical dimensions.
