On the occasion of the International Day of People with Disabilities, the rector of the university, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, accompanied by the members of the office of social welfare , honored a group of employees with disabilities at the University of Medea.
Reception of Professor “Toufik Slimane” from the Irish University of Limerick
As part of the drive to strengthen international relations and cooperation at the University of Médéa, the rector of the university, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, accompanied by his deputies and the dean of the Faculty of Science, welcomed Professor Toufik Slimane from the University of Limerick in Ireland. The visitor presented an exhibition on the University of Limerick and the university’s various teaching and research facilities. On this occasion, opportunities for cooperation and partnership between the University of Médéa and its Irish counterpart were discussed within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between the two universities in December 2022.
Pink October 2023 awareness campaign
As part of the awareness and education campaigns about the risks of breast cancer, the University of Médéa organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Day on October 17, 2023. This event was held in coordination with the Psychological Assistance Unit of the University of Médéa and the Preventive Medicine Unit of the Directorate of University Services. During this day, attendees were educated about the disease, its symptoms, treatment, and preventive measures as part of the “October Pink” campaign.
National Emigration Day
In commemoration of the 62nd anniversary of National Emigration Day, which commemorates the events of October 17, 1961, and in application of a decision by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who decreed in 2021 that a minute’s silence would be observed at 11:00 a.m. nationwide on October 17 each year, in memory of the souls of the martyrs of the massacres of October 17, 1961 in Paris, France. A minute’s silence was observed at the headquarters of the University of Médéa. Eternal glory and honor to our martyrs

A training session for the benefit of the Economic Branches and the university Studies Office of the central region As part of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s program aimed at making the University the locomotive of the country’s growth, and taking into account the significant number of Economic Branches and Studies Office that were approved during the last training session, under the high patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific research and under the supervision of the Minister’s representative, Mr. Ahmed Mir, president of the National Coordination Committee for Innovation and University entrepreneurship, and accompanied by the rector of the University of MEDEA, Professor Djaafar bouarouri, the training session of the Economic Branches and university Studies Office for the central region was launched this morning with the aim of guiding the managers of these institutions on the management principles and the way to integrate into the national market, through a rich program that combines procedural, legal and economic aspects.

On behalf of the Rector of the University of Medea, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, the Vice-Rectors, Professor kouadik Ismail and Professor Othman boukendakdji supervised the launch of the Meeting of knowledge, with the guest professor “Abdelkader Faidouh”, who gave a conference entitled: academic publication in affiliated journals: Scopus International”, in the presence of Deans, Vice-Deans, Heads of Departments, University Professors in various specialties, a number of Doctorate and Master students. The meeting ended by honoring the guest of the University in recognition of his valuable scientific contributions.

Teaching in the third cycle of the course of “philosophy”. The presence of about 90% of new doctoral students at the University of Medea on Saturday, May 20, 2023 for the first course of philosophy, as well as the conference presented by the guest of the university, Dr. Said Zairi, in charge of scientific and technological information at the level of the research center of scientific and technical information. The doctoral students were also welcomed by Dr. Mazouz Mohamed, responsible for monitoring the teaching of all the UET and the teaching of information technology and communication at the University of Medea, which has ensured to answer all questions and concerns so that students access the various platforms dedicated to teaching in the best conditions.
