As part of the implementation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s strategy to promote the integration of higher education establishments into international programs, the meeting of the Regional Conference of Center Universities (CRUC) was held at Médéa’s Yahia Fares University on Thursday April 10, 2025, in the presence of university vice-rectors in charge of external relations and business incubator directors.
The meeting was supervised by Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, President of the Regional Conference of Center Universities (CRUC), and attended by Professor Nada Nouri, head of the national committee for monitoring international programs in support of innovation and business incubators.
Also present were Professor Mohamed Boudour, head of the Erasmus+ office in Algeria, and Professor Taleb Chahinaz Soumia, national coordinator of entrepreneurship development centers.
The meeting addressed mechanisms for disseminating the Erasmus+ program and promoting cooperation between universities in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, with ample space devoted to presenting and discussing incubator managers’ perceptions of projects that could be included in Erasmus+ virtual exchanges and how to develop them in line with the program’s objectives.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and intensify coordination between universities, with a view to supporting innovative initiatives and opening up effectively to the wider international university world.
