
Driven by the commitment to enhance university performance and improve the quality of services for the benefit of the university community and its socio-economic partners, the Rector of the University, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, presided over the signing ceremony of the first edition of the University of Medea Quality Policy. The event was attended by vice-rectors, deans and vice-deans, directors of university annexes, interfaces managers, and members of the University Quality Assurance Cell.
The meeting commenced with a detailed presentation by the Head of the Quality Cell, outlining the general objectives and core principles of the university’s quality policy. The presentation highlighted the roles of various stakeholders in ensuring the success of this path, spanning administrative management, university services, and pedagogical performance. Furthermore, it detailed the procedures for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification project, including the scheduled timeline and practical steps for implementation.
In his address, the Rector commended the efforts of the Quality Cell and all stakeholders involved in preparing this significant project. He emphasized that adopting a quality policy is a strategic move toward embedding a culture of continuous improvement and enhancing administrative and pedagogical effectiveness to meet institutional development goals. He stressed that the success of this process requires collective engagement and shared responsibility across all university departments to translate quality principles into daily practices.
The meeting concluded with the official signing of the first edition of the Quality Policy, reflecting the administration’s firm commitment to implementing its contents on the ground, thereby strengthening the university’s regional and international standing.
