On 8 May 2025, under the patronage of Mustapha Haidaoui, Minister for Youth and President of the High Council for Youth, the “Young Ambassadors of Memory” initiative was launched at the University of Medea under the title “Algerian youth, faithful to the oath of the Moudjahidine and martyrs”. Mr Mustapha Haidaoui, Minister for Youth and President of the High Council for Youth, accompanied by the Wali of Medea, Mr Djilali Doumi, and the Rector of the University of Medea, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the massacres of 8 May 1945, National Day of Remembrance, at the Yahia Fares University in Medea.
