Offer from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) “ICT Core Personnel Development (A) – IT Architect
As part of the cooperation program with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), a specialized training offer has been presented in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) — specifically targeting IT architects. The program aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of technical staff and engineers to improve their job performance. This training will be held in Japan from August 20 to December 20, 2025. For this purpose, we kindly invite all interested individuals to submit their application. Applicants must meet the following required qualifications: 1. Essential Qualifications:Current Position: The applicant must hold a position in the field of IT systems development and architecture.Professional Experience: At least two (02) years of experience as an IT architect, systems analyst, or application specialist. Experience in application systems development is preferred.Education: A university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate).Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English, equivalent to a TOEFL iBT score of 79 or higher. The applicant will be required to deliver presentations and develop an action plan in English. Please attach a copy of an official English language certificate (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, etc.).Health:Must be in good physical health. Any chronic conditions (such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular, or respiratory diseases) should be declared in the medical questionnaire attached to the application form. 2. Recommended Qualifications:Age: Between 25 and 40 years old at the start of the training.Position: At least at the managerial level or higher in their field. Under the supervision of the Rector of the University of Médéa, educational workshops were organized on May 24 and 25, 2025, for the benefit of doctoral students, with the participation of a group of specialized professors in the following areas: * How to present a scientific article, thesis, oral presentation, and scientific poster * Research ethics, citation practices, and academic vision * How to publish a high-quality article in indexed journals * The ranking of the top 2% of researchers worldwide (according to Stanford University ranking) * Applications of artificial neural network models using Python and their role in academic publishing These educational workshops reflect the University of Médéa’s commitment to supporting advanced third-cycle training by providing interactive academic spaces that enable PhD students to develop their research and methodological skills, and explore the latest scientific practices in publishing, academic presentation, and research ethics.
