Final of the national Islamic Nasheeds contest ” UNIVERSITY MOUNSHEED”
University “RAMADAN MOUNSHEED” final ceremony. Under the supervision of the Rector of the University of Medea, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, and in the presence of the Vice-Rectors and the Deans, the large lecture hall, Hadj Hamdi Arselan, hosted the activities of the final ceremony of the national competition for the Ramadan MOUNCHID, the second edition, organized by the National Organization of Free Students, the office of Medea, in coordination with the Directorate of University Services of Medea, the Radio of MEDEA and the Directorate of Culture.
Reforestation campaign
As part of the national campaign of reforestation, which aims to strengthen efforts to preserve the environment and plant cover, and in a context of support and development of the and-use planning and management of green spaces in universities,the Rector of the University of Medea, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and the Dean of the Faculty of Technology, in collaboration with the administrative staff, the Biotechnology Club and the Conservation of Forests of the wilaya of Medea, supervised the launch of the reforestation campaign under the slogan “Planting trees for a better climate,” at the two faculties of the new university pole, OUAZRA
Celebration of the International Women’s Day
Celebration of the International Women’s Day On the occasion of the Women’s Day, MEDEA University organized on March 8, 2023 in the large conference room, a ceremony in honor of the female teachers and workers of the University. A tribute was paid on this occasion to teachers and staff members.
Meeting of knowledge
Under the supervision of the Rector of the University, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences organized the 2nd “meeting of knowledge”, in the presence of Professor Mohamed Lahcen Zeghidi, coordinator of the National Committee for Memory and History. The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Professor Mohamed Amour, who gave a welcome speech, before giving the floor to Professor. Zeghidi, who emphasized in his speech that memory is values, it is existence, and it is history, and researchers agree that man is a historical being, and memory works to reform the individual and society to maintain the unity of the nation, its cohesion and its independence. Professor Zeghidi also answered questions from students and teachers present in the room, At the end of the meeting, an honorary tribute was given to the guest of the university.
National Day of CHAHID on February 18
Under the supervision of the Rector of the University, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, the University of Medea organized a symposium to commemorate the National Day of CHAHID, which coincides with February 18 of each year. The guests of the university, as well as students and staff of the university, listened to a speech delivered by the Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty and the Rector of the university, who emphasized the importance of this historical event for the university. The historian Mohamed Abbas and Professor Elghali Elguerbi gave a lecture that enriched the cultural and historical knowledge of the audience. At the end of the conference, the organizers have given honors and souvenirs of the occasion.
The competition of the Doctorate
Under the supervision of the Rector of the University, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, and in the presence of the administrative staff of the faculties and the university, the competition of the Doctorate was launched on February 04 in three faculties simultaneously: the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Sciences. All the conditions are met for the smooth running of this national competition.
Visit of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises.
On January 31, 2023, the large conference room hosted a meeting with the university community and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Kamel Baddari, accompanied by the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, Mr. Yacine El Mahdi Oualid, in the presence of the Rector of the University, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, the Secretary General of the Wilaya and the President of the People’s Assembly of the Wilaya . After the welcome speeches, the two ministers have emphasized, during their intervention, the close collaboration and complementarity between the two sectors in the field of the creation of enterprises by the students. The meeting concluded with a series of honors for entreprises that have obtained a Start-up label from the national committee of labeling of Start-ups. Symbolic gifts were also given by the rector of the university, the secretary general of the Wilaya and the president of the A.P.W to the two ministers.
