Under the auspices of the Wali of Medea, Mr. Djillali Doumi, and alongside the Rector of the University, Professor Djaafar Bouarouri, the University of Medea organized today the closing ceremony of the 2025-2026 academic year, attended by local authorities and the entire university community.

The ceremony commenced with an address by the University Rector, who reviewed the achievements of the academic year, highlighting major milestones reached in pedagogy, science, and research. He highly commended the tireless efforts of the university community, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to further elevating the university’s standards and strengthening its standing.

For his part, the Wali delivered a speech praising the efforts made by the university staff. He called upon students, faculty, and administrative personnel to maintain their dedication and hard work, thereby contributing to further successes that serve local and national development.

The event culminated in the official announcement of the academic year’s conclusion. The ceremony featured the honoring of top-ranking and outstanding students across various cohorts and disciplines in recognition of their academic excellence. Furthermore, faculty members   promoted to the rank of Full Professors were celebrated, honoring their academic dedication and contributions to the advancement of scientific research.
