About the University The University's Strategy Welcome to the University of Medea Higher education in Medea has started during the academic year of 1988-1989, in accordance with the executive decree No. 48-89 of November 4th 1989, at the administration building that hosted the National Institute of Higher Education of electrical engineering. At that time, the latter was affiliated to El Farabi middle school.
