Freezing of the 2025/2026 academic year

The University of Medea informs all students concerned by the academic year freeze (academic leave) that the period for submitting freeze requests for the 2025/2026 academic year is set from November 15, 2025, to November 30, 2025, and that requests must be submitted exclusively via the Student Space. In accordance with Articles 20, 21, 22, and 23 of Decree No. 1165 of October 4, 2025, establishing the terms and conditions for enrollment and re-enrollment in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, as well as the terms and conditions for organization, evaluation, and progression, it is specified that: Students may be granted academic leave for exceptional reasons, such as: chronic disabling illness, maternity leave, national service, force majeure. Academic leave is granted for a single academic year during the course of study. The maximum duration of academic leave is one year, renewable once during the student’s course of study, except in cases of force majeure as assessed by the relevant academic departments. At the end of the academic leave period, the student may request reintegration from the establishment’s educational services. In preparation for the 2025–2026 academic year, the university administration would like to inform all students concerned that the following schedule has been approved for re-registration and online payment: Monday, June 23, 2025 Start of the pedagogical re-enrollment process for the 2025–2026 academic year, via the PROGRES integrated information system, for all returning students who have completed the current academic year. Wednesday, July 16, 2025 The payment process for registration fees, accommodation, and university transportation for the 2025–2026 academic year will begin. Payments will be made exclusively via electronic payment using a gold payment card “Edahabia”. Important note: Payment by postal order is no longer accepted. Monday, July 28, 2025 All student accounts on the PROGRES information system will be deactivated in preparation for the start of the new academic year’s teaching and administrative processes. Submission of Master’s dissertation via “Espace Etudiant” for second-year Master’s students

Second-year Master’s students are informed that their Master 2 dissertation will be submitted electronically via the Student Space by following the steps below: Step 1: Access the Student Space account and click on ” Dépôt Mémoire M2  ” as shown in image number 01.     الصورة رقم 01     Step 2: If the supervising teacher does not give his authorisation, the student will be directed to the page shown in image number 02, with the note: ”pour déposer le mémoire vous devez avoir l’autorisation du promoteur’’.   الصورة رقم 02   If the supervising teacher gives authorisation, the student is directed to the next page, as shown in image 03. At this step, the student can proceed as follows: – Insert the dissertation in PDF format. – To save, click on the “Enregistrer” button. – To confirm, click on the “Valider (version finale)” confirmation button.     الصورة رقم 03
